Detect and Steal an Egg: full overview
What Detect and Steal an Egg is
Detect and Steal an Egg is a Roblox simulation and tycoon game from the developer listed as KazGames x Eggs. It went up on October 4, 2026, and its Roblox page was last updated on November 4, 2026. The listing says it borrows its idea from Break and Steal an Egg, which is a separate game, so anything you read about that one does not automatically apply here.
The pitch on the game page is simple: you dig up eggs with a shovel, use a detector to find where they are buried, hatch them into rare animals, and then try to steal animals and get away from guards. The animals you keep sit in your base and earn cash, and that cash goes back into better tools and faster running.
At the time of writing the game shows about 2,973 players online, roughly 1.16 million total visits, around 30,178 favorites, and 971 likes against 250 dislikes. Servers hold up to 7 players, according to the game data.
How a session looks in the footage
We did not play the game for this page. What follows comes from the frames of two public YouTube videos, and each screenshot above links back to the video and timestamp it came from.
On screen you can see the loop starting at the base. A prompt tells the player to click inside a pen to place an egg, and a pink beam from the character points at the spot. Once an egg is placed it gets its own label and countdown. In one frame an Orca Egg shows a timer of 1h 21m, and a message says it was placed successfully and hatches in that time. Another label in the same pen shows an Alligator Egg with a shorter timer.
Digging happens out in the world. In one frame a green circle marks a search area, the character is aiming a detector, and a message reads that a buried egg was found. A health bar next to the egg shows how much digging is left, and an Auto Dig button sits at the bottom of the screen in several zones. In a snowy area another frame shows a message saying the signal is gone because someone else dug the egg up first, so eggs can be lost to other players.
The stealing side shows up as a red flashing screen with a RUN! banner. In the frame that carries a large white blocky egg, a Drop button with a trash can icon sits at the bottom, so you can let go of what you are carrying.
When a pen is full, one frame shows a message saying the Kraken went to your inventory instead. A sell menu appears in other frames with a Sell Selected button, a Cancel button, an All Pets list and a search box.
Screen layout and numbers
The left edge of the screen carries a Shop button and an Index button, plus a Slow Mode toggle. The Index is where the game description says you track the rare animals you have collected.
At the bottom left there are two number lines. One has a multiplier in brackets, such as x2, x2.5, x40 or x100 across different frames, and the other is a cash total with a per second style gain beside it. We did not check what the first number measures. It grows over the course of the videos, and so does the cash total. Early frames show cash in the tens of thousands, and a later frame shows $6.38B per day under the Your Pets Earn Cash Offline line.
A hotbar at the bottom holds numbered tools. The labels are small, but the frames show detectors, shovels and a bat, and later items such as animals you picked up. The bottom right corner shows a countdown in the form In 27m 18s, and one frame shows a Starts in 27s line next to it.
Treadmills live near the base. In the footage a character runs on one with a Stop button at the bottom of the screen and an upgrade sign next to it shows a level and a price (Lv. 3 to Lv. 4 in one frame). The game description says treadmill training is how you gain Speed.
Zones and events seen on screen
The frames pass through several themed areas. One is a bright green Forest Zone with a label that includes a recommended Speed, one is a snowy area, one is a sandy base area, and one is a Volcano Zone with a stone gate.
Timed events appear as banners. One frame says an Eternal Egg spawned in the Volcano Zone while a line above it says the hunt starts in 27 seconds, with a note that the game is waiting for more players. Another says to find the Colossal Egg and that whoever digs it the most gets it. A third frame shows a chat style line saying a player broke the Colossal Egg out.
A Divine Egg also has a spawn timer shown above the base in one frame, counting down from 55:11. A Join Event popup in another frame advertises a Saturday zone update.
What players are making videos about
Two videos are used on this page. The first is an hour long challenge from a channel called FTA, whose description says the creator played for one full hour, grinding and collecting eggs while trying to land the best egg in the game. The second is from a channel called Dxnny and is titled around stealing the rarest Halloween egg.
The titles point to long grinding sessions, top rarity eggs and seasonal eggs as video themes. Neither description gives odds, so we cannot say how rare any egg is.
The frames themselves show eggs with names like Bunny Egg, Moose Egg, Fire Fox Egg, Reindeer Egg, Frog Egg, Shoebill Egg, Orca Egg and Alligator Egg, some with a rarity word such as Uncommon or Rare beside them.
Developer notes and what we checked
The developer name on Roblox is KazGames x Eggs. Their game description invites players to like the game and join the group for free rewards. We did not find a code box in the footage and did not confirm any working codes, so our codes page lists none as of November 5, 2026.
If a code ever does appear, it should come from the game page or the developer's Roblox group. Codes for Steal An Egg or Break and Steal an Egg are for different games and should not be assumed to work here.

What is Detect and Steal an Egg?
A Roblox game inspired by Break and Steal an Egg. Detect and dig up eggs with a shovel and a detector to hatch rare animals, then steal them and escape the guards. Place the animals in your base to earn cash, upgrade your shovel and detector, train on the treadmill to gain Speed, and collect them all in the Index.
