Pocket Landlord: full overview
What Pocket Landlord is
Pocket Landlord is a Roblox simulation and tycoon game from UGDEVS, also listed as Underground Developers. It was created on 20 October 2026, so it is only a couple of weeks old at the time of writing. You play a landlord: you furnish rooms, find people to live in them, collect rent, and slowly turn a small plot into a town.
One of the videos that covers it describes the game as a tycoon and idle game where you build up apartments and shops and help tenants with everyday needs. That matches what the game page says about tenants, pets and extra buildings, and it matches what shows up in the footage: a cutaway apartment block over a street of small shops, with money counters at the top of the screen.
A server holds up to 6 players. The game is separate from Rent Please! Landlord Sim, which has a similar theme but is a different Roblox game, so codes or tips for one do not carry over to the other.
How a run looks in the footage
The earliest footage we looked at starts with a nearly empty building. A side panel for Room 102 shows a Starter Studio at 0% completion, and a highlighted button offers to buy the basics, a bed plus a shower or bath and a toilet, for 128 coins. The same panel lists a basic furniture package of 29 pieces and a cosy package of the same size at a higher price, so you can furnish a room in one tap or piece by piece.
Rooms that are not unlocked yet carry signs. On screen you can see boards reading Coming soon with a Prosperity level next to them, and later on a room marked Opening soon. Those signs line up with the level system described below.
Furnishing is where the rent comes from. In the Room 301 panel the game shows potential rent from furniture, 128 coins a minute, with a note that nobody lives there yet. Once a room is furnished and a tenant is moved in, the resident panel shows comfort, services and amenities bars, a satisfaction percentage, and buttons to move the tenant or ask them to leave.
There is also a decorating mode. In the second video the player opens a catalogue on the left with a search box, filters such as Owned, Affordable and All styles, and tabs for Everything, Floors and Walls. A bundle called Cosy corner, shown as 2 of 5, offers a Buy and place button for 500 coins, and a log-cabin style room in the middle of the screen has a sofa placed. A bar along the top has In this room, Undo, Redo and Snap, and a Done button closes the mode.
Tenants, shops and the town
The Tenants window is the part that gives the game personality. Each prospective resident has a short card with a job, a budget, things they love, and a one-line quip. One card in the footage is a rapper who lists Karaoke, Internet Cafe and Breakfast Cafe among the things he loves, and who arrives with a dog. Because that room does not allow pets, the button is greyed out and reads No pets allowed here. That fits the game page, which says tenants bring dogs, cats and bunnies.
The same window shows a Future residents list with locked types and the Prosperity level each needs. In the footage the list includes a Chef, a Fitness Fan, a Retiree, a Fashion Creative and a Gamer, each with a budget percentage. Your own residents are listed underneath.
Shops sit on the street level under the apartments. Pocket Mart is a convenience store, and its panel shows customers served per minute, revenue per customer, wages and upkeep, and profit. At one point the panel warns that demand is higher than capacity and that the checkout queue is too long, with an upgrade under construction. Bubble Wash is a laundry with the same kind of panel and a level 2 upgrade for 5,000 coins. A third panel belongs to the Maple Utility Shed, which tracks power and water for homes and shops and can itself be upgraded.
Upgrades take real time. The panels show a countdown, and they also show paid shortcuts, an Express Builders button and an option to unlock a build queue, both priced in Robux. The panel says construction continues while you are offline and that the property earns 25% of its income while you are away, up to 16 hours.
Interface and numbers
The top bar holds four things: a level title with a goals counter, a coin balance with income per minute, a heart percentage that shows a rent bonus, and in later footage a 2x boost with a countdown. The title changes as you progress, and we saw Landlord, Block Captain, Neighbourhood Pride, Rising Landlord and Home Maker on screen.
A teal menu at the bottom has seven buttons: Build, Tenants, Income, Districts, Shop, Home and Settings. On the left are Travel and Pass buttons and a Design Showdown button marked Beta, which in early footage shows that it unlocks at Prosperity 6.
The Community Prosperity window is the level-up screen. For the step from Block Captain to Rising Landlord it lists three goals: upgrade the Maple Utility Shed to level 2, rent out one Shared Apartment, and run three businesses. Finishing them unlocks Shared Apartment 302, Chef tenants and a Bubble Wash slot, and the reward is 2,500 coins. A Coming up section previews level 6, with Fitness Fan tenants, a Flex and Flow slot and Design Showdown, and level 7, with a landlord home and a Mint Clinic slot.
The Settings and Help window lets you switch between a day and night sky, turn visitors from other servers on or off, toggle a smooth mode, switch to an explore mode and reset the camera to the overview. Its short help text says to drag, pinch or scroll to move the camera, to furnish rooms and then find a tenant, and to upgrade shops when queues get long.
What the community is doing with it
The two videos we used are both fairly relaxed playthroughs rather than guides. One is a random-game-generator episode in which the channel picks Pocket Landlord and builds up apartments and shops. The other is a plain gameplay video on the game's name. Neither is a strict tutorial, but together they show most of the early game, from a bare starter studio to a town with parks, a beach and several towers.
In the late-game overview shot you can see a coin balance of 37,249 with income of 8,687 a minute, a Prosperity 12 goal that asks for 500,000 coins in total, and a street with a park, a beachfront and tall apartment blocks. That gives a rough idea of how far one session can get.
Numbers and updates
At the time of writing, the game shows about 3,530 players online, roughly 1.48 million visits and about 117,600 favourites, with 3,369 up votes against 490 down votes. The last update on record is 2 November 2026. These numbers change fast for a new game, so check the Roblox page for the current figures.
The developer is UGDEVS. We could not confirm a code box in the game, and the Roblox description does not mention codes, so the codes page on this site says so plainly rather than listing anything unverified.
