What FERAL is

FERAL (listed on Roblox as [HIPPO] FERAL Animal Survival) is an animal survival game made by the group Elasmonian Games and created on 19 October 2026. A server holds up to 50 players.

The Roblox description says you are born as a tiny wolf or a wobbly deer, find food and water, and grow from baby to adult in the wild. The map has rivers, forests, a hidden lake and a deep gorge, and the line that sums it up is: in this valley, every animal is either the hunter or the prey.

The description asks players to favorite the game for updates and like it for new animals. Its tag line also lists bear, grizzly bear, fox, eagle, Siberian tiger, cougar, elk, otter, porcupine, rhino, bison and crocodile; those are the developer's search tags, so treat them as hints about what the game has or plans rather than a confirmed roster.

What the gameplay footage shows

In Late Kate's video the player is a wolf named Fern on Day 16 in Winter. The bottom of the screen has a Growth bar (34% in one frame), a Stamina bar, Food and Water bars and a Health number (42 / 42 in the first frame). Above them is a row of seven keys: Z, Shift, X, R, C, T and F.

The left side has four buttons: Menu, Shop, Packs and Rewards. The top right shows the day and season, the time, a round minimap with the name of the area you are in (Den Hollow, Golden Waterhole, Beaver Ponds, Sunrise Bend and Willow Creek all appear in the footage) and a compass strip at the top.

A Next Goal banner tells you what to grow into next: Grow into a teen, Grow into a juvenile, Grow into an adult. Growth is a percentage, and in some frames a green upgrade arrow and a double-arrow button sit beside the bar.

Quests, the orange currency and new animals

A Quests panel on the right has two tabs, Quick and Daily, each with a reset timer. The Quick tab lists three small jobs such as Travel 700 m, Rest for 75 s, Hunt a herbivore, Drink 20 water or Eat 30 meat, each paying a number of orange gems. Finishing all three pays a bonus.

Bottom right, a bar reads Next River Otter with a gem count (67 / 400, later 313 / 400), and a Survival Bonus shows x1.0. After the otter the next animals in the footage are Red Fox and Porcupine. In the same video the player switches from the wolf to an otter named Vale and then to a fox, so the gem bar looks like how you unlock more animals. We haven't tested the unlock ourselves, so treat that as what the footage suggests.

When you are close to someone else's territory, a banner names it and says whether it is contested (for example Golden Waterhole: Ghost's Pack contested, and Sunrise Bend: Killers contested). The Packs button on the left is where the pack feature lives; we haven't seen it opened.

Codes and updates

The game description doesn't mention any codes, and we saw no code box in the footage, so there is no codes page for FERAL. We check the description every day and will add one if a code appears.

A newer video by Vxmpiie is titled The NEW HIPPO UPDATE, and the Roblox name now carries a [HIPPO] tag, so a hippo was added in early November. Our notes for the update are limited to that.
