Dont Swim: full overview
What Don't Swim is
Don't Swim is a Roblox obby with a rule baked into its name. You cross a course of tiled platforms floating over water, and the water is where you do not want to be. The game's own short description asks players to complete all the levels and survive the worm, and that is about as much as the developer says in text. Everything else on this page comes from the Roblox listing data we track and from two gameplay videos we watched frame by frame.
The listing puts it in the Obby & Platformer and Runner genres, with servers that hold up to 20 players. It went up on Roblox on October 25, 2026, and its last update before we checked was on November 2, 2026. It is young, so expect things to change.
A note on the name: the game is sometimes written without the apostrophe, and it is not the same thing as DONT SPLASH or Dont Spill the Water. Those are separate Roblox games.
What a run looks like on screen
Both videos show the same basic look. The course is built from square grid-tile slabs, pale and grey in the fog, sitting on dark teal water. Some stretches are narrow single platforms, some are wide pads, and in one clip the player climbs across tall tiled pillars that stand up out of the mist. Other areas are lit red on a nearly black background, with a tall flame burning next to the path.
On screen you can see a creature in the water. In one clip a pale purple shape with tentacles rises behind a platform. In another, a large face with a single visible eye pushes up in the bottom corner while the player balances on a dark tile. A third shows a head peeking out of the floor in the background while two players stand on a tiled surface. We cannot tell from footage alone how the monster decides who to chase, so we will not guess at its rules.
The two creators describe it in their own titles and notes as a monster in the pool that catches players. Roblox Titan says in the video description that he beat every level from start to finish. The other video, from the AllRounderPlayZ channel, plays with a friend and describes meeting the monster as the scary moment of the session.
The HUD and what you can spend
The screen layout is easy to read once you know the pieces. A run timer sits at the top centre, counting up; in the footage we saw it at 4:58, 7:41, 8:34, 12:33 and 13:36 in different clips. A gold coin counter sits at the top right, and in the solo run it climbed from 33 early on to 98, 196, 456, 717, 1,011, 1,697, 2,089, 2,972 and 3,985 as time passed.
Under the coin counter is a small shop column. We saw Grappling Hook, Double Jump, Jetpack and Infinite Lives, each with a green price tag. The prices were not always the same in different clips: Grappling Hook showed 55 in some and 319 in others, Double Jump showed 60, Jetpack 55 and Infinite Lives 160. We did not work out why, so check in game. Below those is a Be the Monster slot priced at 159.
At the bottom left there is a Push button bound to the P key. In the multiplayer clip a Push prompt appears next to other players, and an E prompt reads x20 Pebbels, spelled that way on screen. A treasure chest with a question mark is visible on the tile edge, and a red no-swimming sign sits on a post by the water.
When a player goes down, a You're Down screen appears with three green hearts, a Buy Revive button costing 10 coins, and a Bleed Out button on the B key. A downed player can then spectate teammates, and the prompt we saw said Revive in 136 meters with a Revive button priced at 100.
What the community is posting
Going by video titles and descriptions, there are two clear styles. One is the solo run: a creator plays through every level and tells viewers to watch to the end for their route and how they got past the pool monsters. The other is the group playthrough, where a few friends join the same server and react to the monster together.
That second style matches what the game is built for. The team count of up to 20 per server, a Push button and a revive system that depends on other players being alive all point towards groups. Again, that is our reading of the interface rather than a developer statement.
Numbers and updates
At the time of writing, Roblox shows about 1,770 players in the game right now and roughly 1.35 million visits in total. It has about 47,400 favorites, and the vote count stands at around 670 thumbs up against 208 thumbs down. Those figures move fast on a new release, so treat them as a snapshot from our November 5, 2026 check.
The Roblox page lists the developer only with a short tagline instead of a clear studio name, so we are not going to name one. If a proper group appears we will add it.
Codes and other guides on this site
We looked for redeemable codes and could not confirm that Don't Swim has a code box at all. The Roblox description does not mention codes, and the code-list sites we checked had no page for the game. Our codes page for it says none are confirmed and explains where to look if the developer adds some later. Only trust a code announced by the developer.

What is Dont Swim?
A short obby-style runner with a simple rule: don't swim. Complete all the levels and survive the worm. That is all the game's own description says, so this page sticks to it.
